About EDC 2012 EDC "Founders" Award Recipients Congratulations to the 2012 recipients of the EDC "Founders Award" for Distinguished Leadership in Economic and Commmunity Development. Established to coincide with our 50th Anniversary, this award recognizes and honors an individual, business
or organization who/that, in partnership with EDC, has made extraordinary contributions of
Leadership, Commitment and Service toward the strenghthening of Lancaster County through
economic development efforts on the county, municipal or neighborhood level. 

History tells us that EDC's 15 Founders were men who exhibited great Integrity, Perseverance, Stewardship, Vision and Leadership in their collaborative efforts to serve the community.  These principles and qualities helped form the criteria upon which the award recipients were selected.
