The Economic Development Company of Lancaster County (EDC) is the leading organization dedicated to promoting business development and expansion within Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  A local, not-for-profit, non-government organization EDC works on a number of fronts to promote the economic well-being of our communities. Whether you are starting up your business, expanding your presence here or considering a corporate relocation, EDC can assist you with everything from site location to financing.

Often partnering with our sister organization, EDC Finance Corporation,

2015 Joint Strategic Plan Summary

We are pleased to present this summary of the 2015 joint EDC and EDC Finance Corporation Strategic Plan.

The culmination of over twelve months of work by the boards of these two independent organizations has resulted in an updated and shared Vision and Mission Statement with focused Core Strategies intended to strengthen the organizations’ abilities to improve upon and expand economic development opportunities for Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
